This picture that i have drawn is from my collection of ancient indian buildings which mainly comprises of the very traditional Ajanta and Ellora temples in India. The sculptures from the ancient times spoke a lot about buddhas and their lives.In this picture the sculpture of the buddha has been highlighted by the smart use of contrast.The striking elements of this picture is mainly the use of color which has helped me bring out perspective in the picture making it feel very realistic.I chose pencil colors to go with it because it gives the picture an original touch therefore not making it look unreal.

This is a picture of an ancient greek pillar which i found very interesting because of the elaborate detailing and technique that was used especially in those times.The entire focus is drawn to the intricate designs carved out which indeed needed a lot of man power. The unique style of this pillar highlights the architecture of that period. Engravings on the pillar are very precise and therefore speak enough about the design and architecture of the buildings of that time.

One of the most beautiful cities in mumbai-Hyderabad, holds this very prestigious statue of the buddha which gives this city a spectacular view at night. The striking color contrast between the sky and the ocean brings depth in the picture and the amazing lighting that is focused on the Buddha gives a very beautiful feel to the picture.I feel that the colors captured in this picture bring in life and beauty, hence making the picture very pleasant in the eyes of the viewer.
